
Originally Loka Jala Crana museum built on 19 September 1969 under the name of the Sea Academy museum which was inaugurated by Mrs. R Mulyadi. As the name implies, was originally only intended for use by Marine Academy Midshipman as a medium of learning history. Along with the development of the museum was renamed the Navy Museum on July 10, 1973. Finally on October 6, 1979 its name was changed again into MuseumTNI Crana-AL Loka Jala.
Museum Loka Jala Crana currently located in Surabaya Krembangan Morokrembangan District and is in the neighborhood Naval Academy (AAL) that educate prospective Navy Officer Education Development Command and the Navy to educate prospective Tamtama, Officer and Officer for further education. Complex is better known as "Earth Moro" Surabaya.
This museum tells the history of development and the fight during the Revolutionary Navy Physical and store its collection relating to the revolution, namely the form of cannon warships, aircraft, helicopters, Amphibious Tank PT 76, field artillery and air defense, firearms ranging from long-barreled automatic pistol until old who can not be found in other places.
